Within the days of early society, humans created explanations upon irrational observations. These Beliefs evolved into religions that integrated greatly into the way of life for civilisations. However, as minds began to think independently, the desire for scientific explanations on phenomena began to contradict religious beliefs. Today, the Religion & Science Coalescence has integrated into society well, with slightly adapted influences upon the population.
In recent years society has experienced a new kind of pandemic. One that is not caused by a pathogen, but rather by social media and the easy access to means of mass communication - an infodemic. The world has shifted, unintentionally, from the information to the disinformation age because we - as a society - have been unable to recognize the threat to democracy of misinformation in combination with our own biases.
